Meet Annika
Born on the beautiful west coast in Sweden and travelling the world since 2009, slowly migrated to the Southern Hemisphere in 2014.
Spent many years in Kaikōura, New Zealand working as a naturalist for a whale watching company on the scenic South Island. Moved to Queensland, Australia working as skipper, crew and naturalist onboard a sailing catamaran observing humpback whales. About to return to the small pacific island of Niue for a second winter, working as skipper, crew and photographer swimming with humpback whales.
Avid wildlife photographer above and under the surface of the water. Passionate ocean lover and conservationist. When Annika is not working, she finds herself immersed in the underwater world, whether it being in the ocean, rivers or lakes.
